BUILD THE MANIFESTO
We don’t tell the public what the rules are.
The public decides — we implement it.
Good evening, Britain.
And welcome to The Visionary Party.

Let’s begin with an uncomfortable truth: you already live in a dictatorship — not the loud kind, the quiet kind. The kind where you’re told you’re free while everything you do is monitored, logged, stored and analysed.

So here’s our proposal: if rules are going to be imposed, let’s make it honest and public-built. Every policy below exists for one reason: you voted for it. If 51% say yes, it goes in our manifesto. No spin. No U-turns.

Built by the people. Voted by the people. Run for the people.

POLICY 1

Prison & Immigration Energy Programme

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 95.1%
All Prisoners and illegal immigrants in hotels or public housing, who are in good health, are to ride exercise bikes for 8 hours a day! If they do this they receive better food, TV rights and access to a mobile phone. If they refuse they get nothing, lets confirm that, nothing!
Just locked away for 23 hours a day with minimal food, no TV, no phones, no privileges!
If we can get enough prisoners and illegal migrants riding exercise bikes for 8 hours a day, the electricity generated from this will offer free or vastly reduces electricity bills for UK citizens over the age of 60.
Vote now:
Why this policy matters to you ▸
This policy is about responsibility, fairness, and making sure public resources benefit the people who have paid into the system all their lives.
It aims to reduce the cost of housing and energy while giving older UK citizens financial relief on their electricity bills.
Supporters believe that if someone is being housed and supported by the public, contributing physical effort in return is a fair exchange rather than leaving the burden entirely on taxpayers.

No British Passport, No Entry

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
The United Kingdom will operate a fully secured border system. Permanent British Residency will only be available to those holding a British Passport.
Travel Visas will be limited to a 3month period, and workplace Visas only issued for a maximum of 12 months. (Both renewable through the correct channels)
Anyone overstaying a travel or workplace Visa will be immediately removed from the UK and will never be granted authority to return.
This policy applies equally to all modes of travel, including train, plane, and boat. The policy is not based on race, religion, or background, but on clear national standards applied consistently to everyone. Those who wish to visit, work, or live in the UK must meet defined entry requirements, respect British law, and live by the values approved by the public through the democratic Visionary Party Public Vote. This approach reflects historical precedent, where strong border controls were essential to national security, particularly during times of crisis. The aim is not permanent isolation, but firm and transparent control of who enters the country, prioritising safety, social cohesion, and public confidence. Individuals who actively oppose this policy may instead contribute through our overseas community-building programmes focused on housing, education, agriculture, and infrastructure in developing nations, ensuring opposition is redirected into constructive global support rather than domestic disruption.

Work, Train or Contribute

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 94.7%
Long-term unemployment traps people in dependency and wastes human potential. Under this policy, individuals claiming long-term benefits will be required to engage in The Visionary Party's structured online training in practical trades class. Offering training such as electrical work, plumbing, construction, or other vocational skills. Courses will be free and supported, with formal assessments every three months. Those who pass assessments will retain full benefits while progressing toward employment. Those who repeatedly fail or refuse to participate without valid reason will see their benefits reduced by 10% every three months until engagement in the programme resumes. The aim is not punishment, but re-engagement helping people regain skills, confidence, and independence while ensuring public support is matched with personal responsibility.

The Visionary Party overseas community support programmes

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 95.5%
Rather than allowing able-bodied individuals to remain idle in the UK, this policy introduces The Visionary Party overseas community service programme. Eligible participants including certain prisoners, offenders, and non-integrating migrants will be deployed to developing communities to help build homes, schools, farms, and vital infrastructure. Participants who comply will receive accommodation, food, structured support and the opportunity to return to the UK with improved prospects. Refusal or absconding will result in permanent loss of UK residency rights. This policy redirects unproductive time into meaningful global contribution, creating accountability, purpose, and tangible benefit for communities in need.

Fast Food Health Balance Scheme

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 75%
Obesity places increasing strain on the NHS and reduces quality of life. Large fast-food outlets will be required to introduce optional “treadmill tills,” allowing customers to walk gently while ordering and waiting for food. This policy does not ban fast food or shame individuals; it encourages balance.
If when walking through the font door you get directly to the till, that's great, however, if you can't pass through the newly designed barriers, you will have to walk around and order on The Visionary Party Treadmill Till!
Light movement helps offset sedentary habits and promotes healthier routines without removing personal choice. Customers may still enjoy their meals, but the system nudges small, practical lifestyle improvements that collectively reduce long-term healthcare costs for our NHS and it also promotes personal responsibility for health.

Homeless Support With Structure

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Homeless UK citizens will be offered the same hotel-based accommodation currently provided to migrants, including warm beds, meals, and communication access. In return, these citizens will have the chance to either generate free electric for the over 60's by riding the exercise bikes provided, or, they must engage in training, work placements, or rehabilitation programmes tailored to their needs. Refusal to participate will result in reassignment to The Visionary Party overseas community support programmes where contribution is mandatory. This policy prioritises compassion with structure, helping people back onto their feet while preventing long-term dependency and ensuring fairness between all citizens.

Free Prescriptions for All

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 81.3%
No one should have to choose between health and finances. Under this policy, all NHS prescriptions will be free for every working UK resident or those undergoing one of The Visionary Party Training Programmes.
Removing prescription charges improves early treatment, reduces hospital admissions and lowers long-term NHS costs.
A healthier population benefits everyone, and universal access ensures that care is based on medical need not personal income. This policy reflects a commitment to preventative healthcare and shared responsibility.

NHS Priority for Contributors

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 86.7%
Those who actively work, are self-employed, contribute through tax payments or on one of The Visionary Party training Programmes will receive priority placement on NHS waiting lists.
Emergency care remains universal, but routine procedures will prioritise contributors to the system. This policy rewards participation without denying care to others, reinforcing fairness and encouraging engagement with employment and taxation. Contribution matters, and the NHS should recognise those who sustain it.
Emergency NHS services exist to save lives, not to manage avoidable behaviour.
Under The Visionary Party, ambulance services and A&E departments will no longer be routinely used to deal with alcohol & drug related incidents where no medical emergency exists, particularly in town centres on Friday and Saturday nights. (Other nights also apply)
Individuals who are intoxicated or high but not in medical danger may be required to arrange alternative transport or pay a fixed charge for ambulance use. Life-saving treatment will always remain available where clinically necessary.
Any person who verbally or physically abuses NHS staff, including ambulance crews, doctors or nurses, will face their treatment being with-held. There will also be immediate penalties, including fines and recovery of treatment costs where appropriate. Repeated abuse may result in compulsory charges for non-emergency care.
This policy protects NHS staff, reduces pressure on emergency services, and ensures ambulances are available for genuine emergencies.
Respect is not optional.
Emergency services must be protected, not exploited.

Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 80%
Freedom of speech is a fundamental right and must be protected. However, speech that deliberately incites hatred, violence or intimidation against individuals or groups has no place in a civil society.
Under The Visionary Party, hate speech will be treated as a serious offence where it targets people based on protected characteristics such as race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or disability.
This policy does not restrict lawful debate, criticism, satire, or disagreement. People remain free to express opinions, challenge ideas, and engage in open discussion without fear.
The line is clear:
Speech that promotes harm, intimidation, or dehumanisation will not be tolerated.
Law enforcement will be required to apply existing laws consistently and proportionately, ensuring victims are protected while free expression remains intact.
A society can be both free and respectful.
Zero tolerance for hate is compatible with strong free speech — not opposed to it.

Faith in Private, Neutrality in Public

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 90.9%
Freedom of belief is fundamental, but public spaces must remain neutral and inclusive. This policy restricts public religious practice to private homes and designated places of worship. Individuals are free to practise any faith, but organised religious expression will not take place in shared civic spaces such as streets, transport, or government facilities. The aim is not to suppress belief, but to prevent division and conflict arising from competing religious displays in public life. History shows that religion, when politicised or publicly imposed, often becomes a source of tension. By keeping faith personal and private, this policy preserves peaceful coexistence while protecting individual freedom. Public spaces belong to everyone equally, regardless of belief. This approach promotes unity, reduces cultural friction, and ensures that no group feels pressured or excluded in everyday public life.

Adult Responsibility Voting Standard

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Voting is one of the most significant responsibilities in a democracy. This policy establishes a consistent adulthood threshold of 20 for voting, drinking, smoking, and gambling. National decisions shape economic stability, security, and future generations, and they require maturity and lived experience. Aligning voting rights with other adult responsibilities ensures fairness and consistency across the legal system. At 18, individuals are more likely to have experienced work, education, and real-world consequences. This policy strengthens democratic decision-making by ensuring voters are equipped to understand long-term implications. It is not about exclusion, but about responsibility. A serious democracy demands serious voters, and this policy reinforces that principle.

The Visionary Party ID Card

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 87.5%
Excessive consumption of alcohol, tobacco and gambling places strain on families, communities and the NHS. The Visionary Party ID Card introduces controlled purchasing limits based on personal circumstances and contribution. Individuals who work and contribute will retain broader access, while chronic abusers will face tighter restrictions. The policy is preventative, not punitive, aiming to reduce addiction related harm while preserving personal choice.
By identifying unhealthy patterns early, support and intervention can be offered before long-term damage occurs. This system balances freedom with responsibility, protecting public health without imposing blanket bans. A healthier population reduces healthcare costs and improves quality of life. The Visionary Party ID Card is a tool for protection, not control.

Police First, Politics Out

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Public safety requires strong, visible policing. This policy commits to recruiting 100,000 additional police officers in the first year alone and removing political interference from frontline enforcement.
Officers will focus on crime prevention, response and law enforcement rather than administrative or ideological distractions. Clear authority and accountability will be restored.
Law-abiding citizens will benefit from safer streets and faster response times, while criminals will face consistent consequences. The policy emphasises discipline, deterrence, and public confidence. Policing should protect communities, not navigate political trends. Restoring respect for the law begins with empowering those tasked with enforcing it.

One Shared Language in Public Services

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 80%
Clear communication saves lives. This policy establishes English, (and Welsh where applicable), as the primary languages in hospitals, schools, and public services. Minimal translation services will remain available in emergencies only.
A shared operational language ensures clarity, safety, and efficiency.
Medical errors, educational gaps, and misunderstandings often arise from language barriers. A common language strengthens unity while preserving cultural diversity. This policy prioritises function and safety over division, ensuring public services operate effectively for everyone.
English & Welsh are the shared languages of the United Kingdom and is essential for access to public services, employment and civic life.
Under The Visionary Party, all residents of the UK will be expected to demonstrate a basic working ability in spoken English within a reasonable period of time.
The government currently spends significant public funds providing interpreters for routine services such as GP and hospital appointments. These ongoing costs are paid for by the taxpayer and place additional strain on already stretched public services.
This Visionary Party policy does not remove compassion or support. Free and accessible English language education must be provided to help people reach the required standard. Temporary translation support may be used where genuinely necessary, but it must not become a permanent substitute for integration.
One shared language improves safety, efficiency and understanding.
It strengthens communities, reduces costs and ensures equal participation in public life.
All Integration to speak one language will be fully supported, but also expected!

Documentation Required for Entry

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
National security and sustainability depend on controlled borders. This policy requires valid documentation for all UK entry, without exception. Border enforcement will be strengthened to ensure capacity aligns with housing, healthcare, and employment resources. The aim is responsible management, not isolation. By enforcing documentation standards, the UK can plan effectively, protect services, and maintain public trust. A country that cannot control entry cannot control its future.

UK Laws for the UK

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
This policy restores full legislative independence to the United Kingdom.
All UK law will be written, interpreted, enforced and amended solely within the UK, by UK institutions, accountable directly to the British public.
External legal influence over domestic law will be removed, ensuring clarity, consistency and democratic accountability.
The right to peaceful protest will remain protected. However, actions that deliberately disrupt essential services, critical infrastructure, or public safety will carry firm consequences. Individuals who repeatedly undermine public order may face compulsory overseas service placements as an alternative to imprisonment, contributing positively while removing ongoing disruption at home.
For law-abiding citizens, daily life will see little change except greater legal clarity, faster decision making and a justice system that reflects national priorities. This policy exists to protect those who follow the law, not to punish them.
Sovereignty strengthens responsibility.

Protect Cash Cash

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Cash remains essential for privacy, accessibility and national resilience.
This policy guarantees the continued protection of cash as legal tender in the United Kingdom, alongside digital payments and emerging technologies such as cryptocurrencies.
Progress should expand choice, not remove it.
Not all citizens have reliable access to digital banking, smartphones, or online systems. Older people, vulnerable individuals, small businesses and those in rural communities continue to rely on cash for independence and day-to-day transactions. Removing cash would exclude millions from full participation in the economy.
Cash also provides vital resilience. During power cuts, cyber-attacks, system failures or national emergencies, digital payments can fail. Cash ensures that trade, travel and essential services can continue without disruption.
For law-abiding citizens, protecting cash preserves personal freedom, financial privacy and choice in how they manage their money.
The Visionary Party cash policy does not oppose innovation, it safeguards balance.
A modern economy should be inclusive, flexible and secure.
Cash must remain a protected option, not a phased-out privilege.

The Visionary Party Pensions Fairness Policy

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Those who built the country deserve security in retirement.
The Visionary Party Pensions Fairness policy removes tax on pension income and pension savings for individuals who have paid into the system through work, National Insurance and taxation over their lifetime.
Pensions are deferred earnings, not unearned income and should not be treated as a taxable privilege.
In addition, inheritance tax will be capped at 10% on estates exceeding £500,000 in equity. Families should be able to pass on the majority of what they have worked for without facing excessive taxation at the point of death.
Lifetime contribution should not be penalised. This policy rewards responsibility, long-term work and financial planning, while protecting family stability across generations. It reduces fear and uncertainty in later life and restores trust that the system will honour its promises.
For law-abiding citizens who have worked, saved and contributed, this policy provides fairness, dignity and certainty.
A responsible society respects contribution both in life and beyond it.

BBC Funding? Lets vote!

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 54.5%
Public broadcasting must retain public trust.
This policy places the BBC licence fee directly under public vote. The public funds the BBC, and therefore the public should deide whether the licence fee continues in its current form.
If the licence fee is rejected by public vote, the BBC will transition to an advertising-funded or subscription-based model, similar to other broadcasters. This ensures continued operation while removing compulsory charges from households that no longer feel represented or served.
Funding must reflect value, neutrality and public confidence.
A publicly funded broadcaster should demonstrate fairness, balance and accountability to justify mandatory payment. Where trust is weakened, reform must follow.
This policy does not seek to abolish public broadcasting, it seeks to modernise accountability. Letting the public decide ensures transparency, democratic control and legitimacy.
Media funded by the public should answer to the public.

3 Strikes and You're Out

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Law-abiding citizens should not live in fear of repeat offenders.
This policy introduces a tiered Three Strikes system focused on persistent criminal behaviour, with clear and escalating consequences.
Under The Visionary Party, the justice system will prioritise public safety, deterrence and accountability above tolerance for repeat harm.
For non-violent offences such as shoplifting, intimidation, or antisocial behaviour, a graduated approach will apply. A first offence may result in mandatory penalties and rehabilitation. A second offence may bring significantly stronger sanctions. A third offence would probably lead to compulsory placement in The Visionary Party Overseas Community Support Programme (Policy 4), with service length determined by severity and repetition.
Knife crime presents a direct and immediate risk to public safety. A second knife-related offence will automatically trigger removal from UK communities and placement into overseas service programme.
Crimes of extreme severity including rape and murder will carry immediate and permanent custodial consequences, with no eligibility for community or overseas programmes.
Public protection comes first.
Rather than allowing able-bodied repeat offenders to remain idle in the UK, overseas placements will involve structured work building homes, schools, farms and vital infrastructure in developing communities. Compliance offers purpose and reform. Refusal or absconding will result in permanent loss of UK residency rights even for UK born citizens!

They can attend Golf Courses across the UK and get paid a minimal amount to caddy for businessmen and women and retiree's alike! Mixing with successful people who can afford a golf membership may encourage the unemployed to make better work based decisions and, they get to keep fit at the same time. Socialising with hard working people and listening to success stories can only serve to encourage those who want a better life. Golf courses can use the scheme to employ more people to assist in green-keeping at a minimal wage. Automatic Sentences for Proven Corruption in Public Office

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Any individual found guilty of corruption while holding public office must receive an automatic custodial sentence, regardless of their position, seniority, or political affiliation.
This policy applies to elected officials, civil servants, and senior figures in publicly funded bodies who misuse public funds, accept bribes, abuse their position for personal gain or deliberately conceal corrupt activity. Once guilt is proven in a court of law, sentencing would no longer be left to discretion or influence.
The aim is to restore public trust by ensuring that those entrusted with power are held to the highest standards of accountability. Corruption at the top damages public services, wastes taxpayer money, and undermines confidence in democracy itself.
Clear, automatic consequences remove ambiguity and reduce the perception that powerful individuals are treated differently from ordinary citizens. This policy sends a simple message: public office is a responsibility, not an opportunity for personal enrichment.

Compulsory Real-World Experience for All Politicians Before Taking Office

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Before holding any elected political office, all politicians must complete a minimum of five years working in ordinary, real-world jobs outside politics.
This may include roles in retail, hospitality, healthcare, construction, transport, manufacturing, or any other sector that involves real customers, real managers, and real consequences for mistakes. Time spent as a career politician, adviser, lobbyist, or think-tank employee would not count.
During this period, individuals must live solely on the wage earned from their job, without additional allowances, subsidies, or benefits related to political activity. Performance reviews from employers would be recorded, but no individual would be excluded based on the type of job they worked.
The aim is to ensure that those making decisions about taxes, wages, housing, and public services have firsthand experience of everyday working life. This policy encourages empathy, realism, and practical understanding before anyone is trusted with national responsibility.

The Visionary Party Basic Life Skills Training Before Anyone Is Call An Adult

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Before being officially recognised as an adult, all individuals must complete a basic life skills course covering everyday tasks required to function independently.
This course would include simple but essential skills such as cooking a basic meal, doing laundry without shrinking everything, changing a light bulb, managing a small monthly budget, booking appointments, and writing a clear email without using emojis to replace words.
Participants must also demonstrate an understanding of basic household responsibilities, including cleaning shared spaces, taking out bins on the correct day, and recognising when something is broken versus when it is simply switched off.
The purpose of this policy is not to judge intelligence or education, but to ensure practical independence. Modern life increasingly allows people to avoid learning basic skills, often relying on others to fix problems they could reasonably handle themselves.
Completion of the course would come with a simple certificate confirming readiness for everyday adult responsibilities, not perfection — just basic competence.
Those who do not pass would be required to complete a short refresher course and retake the assessment before being considered fully independent. Until then, they would be encouraged to live in shared or supported accommodation where basic responsibilities are clearly structured. This ensures independence is earned through competence, not assumed by age alone.

Reduced Tax Rate for Professional Footballers .

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 60%
Professional footballers in the higher tax bracket would pay a reduced income tax rate of 30%, in recognition of the short, high-risk nature of sporting careers and the intense physical demands placed on players at the top level.
In return, all professional footballers earning above a defined threshold would be required to donate a fixed 10% of their gross income to registered charities or community projects. These donations must be fully transparent, publicly listed, and independently audited to ensure funds are genuinely reaching their intended causes.
Charities could include youth sports programmes, grassroots football clubs, health initiatives, education projects or community services, allowing players to support causes that have long-term social benefit. Players would be free to choose where their donations go, provided organisations meet transparency and accountability standards.
The policy aims to balance reward with responsibility, recognising the unique earning structure of professional sport while ensuring that high-profile individuals contribute visibly and meaningfully to society. Public transparency removes doubt, token gestures, and publicity-only donations, replacing them with measurable social impact.

Three Strikes for Persistent Shoplifting

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
A three-strike system would be introduced for repeat shoplifting offences to provide clear consequences and protect local businesses.
On the first offence, individuals would receive a formal warning and mandatory education on the impact of shoplifting on staff, small businesses, and local communities. A second offence would result in community service linked to retail or local public services.
On the third offence, a public accountability measure would be applied. The individual would be required to spend a fixed period of time in a traditional public “stocks-style” display in a designated civic area, under supervision and without physical harm. This would be accompanied by a public notice explaining the offence, with clear rules preventing abuse or harassment.
In addition, the offence would be publicly recorded online for a limited period to act as a deterrent, not a permanent mark. The aim is not cruelty, but deterrence, accountability, and protecting workers who face daily theft with little consequence for repeat offenders.
This policy focuses on visible consequences rather than repeated cycles of arrest and release.

The National Switch-Off Hour

✅ PUBLIC APPROVED — 100%
Once a week, a voluntary national “Switch-Off Hour” would be encouraged across the UK, where non-essential digital activity is paused for sixty minutes.
During this hour, people are encouraged to step away from social media, streaming platforms, online shopping, and news feeds. Instead, they are invited to spend time talking face to face, going for a walk, reading, cooking, playing games, or simply doing nothing without a screen.
No enforcement, penalties, or monitoring would exist. This is not about control, but culture. Businesses providing essential services would continue to operate as normal, and participation would be entirely optional.
The aim is to gently challenge the constant digital noise that dominates modern life and to remind people what uninterrupted time feels like. Public bodies, broadcasters, and employers would be encouraged to support the initiative by avoiding non-essential announcements or updates during the hour.
The policy recognises that while technology connects us, it can also overwhelm, distract, and exhaust when never paused.
